William Spratling Silver and Turquoise Caviar Bracelet

1940's vintage William Spratling Silver and Turquoise "Caviar" Bracelet

Dimensions:7-3/4" interior circumference, 5/8" w; 61.2 grams

Stone Dimensions: 1/8" dia.; a few of the turquoise cabochons have cracks, but all the stones are stable in their bezels

Marks: WS print circle, Made in Mexico

Condition: excellent condition for its age. A few of the stones show some wear, not uncommon for such a soft stone as turquoise. The box clasp works well.

Spratling silver caviar bracelet

This design, from Spratling's first design phase, was used in many different pieces and forms. It was often just produced with silver balls (instead of the turquoise ones). It drapes beautifully on the arm; a real pleasure to wear!
