1940's vintage Margot de Taxco (Margot Van Voorhies) Sterling Silver Floral Double-Wide Bracelet

Dimensions: 7-3/8" interior circumference; 8-1/2" overall length; 1 1/2" in width; 98.05 grams

Marks: Margot de Taxco, Made in Mexico Sterling with 16 eagle; 5240; all marks are on the center link

Condition: excellent condition for its age with a nice warm patina. The integrated box clasp is in fine working order. The links are hollow.

This massive bracelet with a floral and ball design is very much in in the style of work being done by Antonio Castillo while Margot was married to him. She would continue to use his floral and roccoco motifs as she developed her own style after their divorce.

This bracelet is quite a statement piece; it's lovely on the arm.
