This choker exhibits the strength of the early 20th Century silver designs coming out of Taxco. Each link swivels on its riveted connection; combined with the swirling geometry, the choker has a great visual flow when worn.

The necklace was probably designed by Margot van Voorhies; she produced many of the early designs for Los Castillo when she was married to Antonio Castillo. Look at her Necklace, item #4333, to see this motif used again when she was producing her own work at a later date.
